What is Katana.so?
Katana.so is an independent guide site that explains Katana Network, the Ethereum Layer-2 with chain ID 747474, and Katana DEX, the decentralized exchange on the Ronin network. Katana.so is not run by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Katana Network, the Katana Foundation, Ronin, or Sky Mavis.
The two projects share a name but are separate. Katana Network is a DeFi chain incubated by Polygon Labs and GSR. Katana DEX is the exchange Ronin users rely on to swap RON, AXS, SLP and other gaming tokens. Each of our guides says which one it covers in the opening paragraph.
What does Katana.so cover?
- Katana Network: the chain, the KAT token, staking with vKAT and avKAT, and VaultBridge yield. Start with our Katana Network explainer.
- Katana DEX on Ronin: connecting a Ronin Wallet, swapping tokens and providing liquidity. See how to swap tokens on Katana DEX.
- Safety: official URLs, chain ID checks and common scams. Read our Katana safety checks.
- Wider crypto coverage: market news and price predictions beyond the Katana ecosystem.
Where are the official Katana apps?
Katana.so has no wallet connection, no trading and no token of its own. Use the official sites instead:
| Project | Official site |
|---|---|
| Katana Network | katana.network |
| Katana DEX (Ronin) | app.roninchain.com |
If a page on any site asks you to connect a wallet to katana.so, it is not us. Close it.
How are Katana.so guides written?
Our Katana guides link to each project’s official documentation for technical details, and we date time-sensitive facts such as fees, chain settings and reward programs. When a detail changes, the guide should change with it. If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
